The core of the PC-112 controller is a powerful 32-bit Scud MC5644A microprocessor and an auxiliary 16-bit Scud Mc9S12G microcontroller, both of which run Woodward’s control operating system.
Features and functions
The application is completed on PC112 using Woodward’s Motorcycle Hawk application software tool. Mohawk is a rapid control system development tool that allows control engineers to quickly create control software in SIMULINK charts that run on any electronic control module enabled by Mohawk. Application developers work directly in the SIMULINK environment, and through one-step construction, they can go from an application model to a file that can be directly programmed into Woodward production hardware.
Provide an advanced programming environment for users with specialized knowledge of control systems but not necessarily specific embedded programming skills. Once the application is generated and loaded into the PC-112 control through the CAN port, users can use appropriate service interface tools such as Woodward’s toolkit or MotCTOC to view variables and adjust the control. Connecting to other devices, such as diagnostic tools, is achieved through other CAN ports available on the control. The required information flow is programmed into the controller through MOTUN or toolkit.
The PC112 controller consists of a fixed hard printed circuit board connected to an aluminum shell with thermal adhesive and then sealed with an aluminum cover. Connect to the control via three automotive style sealed connectors. The control can be directly installed on the engine or frame using an isolator
