automotive environments must operate reliably in temperatures ranging from minus 40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius (℃).
The reliability testing intensity of AEC-Q200 exceeds typical commercial product reliability testing in terms
of temperature cycle time and thermal shock. Such reliability is required for DC-DC converters, voltage regulation
modules, battery power systems, multiphase regulators and point-of-load modules used in vehicle electronic systems.
Each inductor in this series is constructed from powdered iron core material and is magnetically shielded to reduce
electromagnetic interference (EMI). The HCMA0503 has a frequency range up to 1 megahertz (MHz), and the HCMA0703,
HCMA1104, HCMA1305 and HCMA1707 have a frequency range up to 5 MHz. Each element is capable of carrying large currents with very little core loss.
The HCMA series of inductors are available in surface mount packages with heights ranging from a very low 3mm to 7mm
