Problems encountered when allocating large buffers for serial ports using NI-VISA

Question:
The Windows serial driver does not allow NI-VISA to create a buffer greater than 40000 bytes. When I created a buffer larger than this limit, I received an error -1073807300: System resources are insufficient. If I ignore this error, any buffer larger than 40968 bytes will actually only have 40968 bytes. How can I allocate a larger buffer for the serial port?
Answer:
You should install the latest version of the NI Series driver (at least after NI Series 1.45). This will cover the standard serial port driver for Windows, allowing the serial port buffer size to reach 232 (4294967296 bytes) All available NI Serial drivers can be downloaded from the link below.

Question: Does the PWE OK (8101, 8102, 8104, 8105, 8106, 8108, 8110) or PWROK/Fault (8109, 8133) power indicator light on my PXI/PXIE controller continue to flash red, or cannot it continue to light up?
Answer: The power indicator light PWR OK or PWROK/FULT LED should continue to light up during normal operation, and the hard drive light will flash when the system starts reading the hard drive. If the power light cannot continue to light up or flashes red, the following attempts can be made:
Ensure that the chassis power connection is normal.
Check whether all fuses and disconnect switches on the chassis or power supply are normal.
Confirm that the controller module is securely inside the chassis.
Remove other modules from the chassis.
Remove all unnecessary cables and devices connected to the chassis.
Try plugging the controller into another chassis.
Try plugging the same controller into the chassis.
Clear CMOS. Refer to the installation and configuration section in the controller user manual and refer to the relevant system CMOS section. Generally speaking, pressing a button or moving a jumper can complete a clear CMOS operation.
Repair the controller hard drive. Refer to the installation and configuration section of the controller user manual and refer to the relevant hard drive repair section. But if the controller cannot start properly, it cannot perform hard drive repair.
If none of the above measures can solve the problem, the customer needs to contact NI company to repair the controller.
